Your CRM is the single source of truth for all the people and organisations you’re engaging with. Contacts represent individuals, while Companies represent the organisations they belong to. Keeping these records up to date ensures your team can track interactions, personalise outreach, and connect intent signals with the right people.
Getting Started
To access the CRM:
- Navigate to CRM in the left-hand menu.
- Choose Contacts or Companies.
- Use the search bar or filters to quickly find records.
Managing Contacts
A Contact Record brings together all details, activities, and touchpoints for an individual.
Contact List View
- Edit Columns → Customise which properties you see by moving fields into “Active” or “Inactive.”
- New Contact → Manually add or import contacts. Mandatory fields are marked with asterisks.
- Search Bar → Quickly locate a contact by name.
Inside a Contact Record
At the top of each Contact Record you’ll find action icons to: [Some actions will dependant on your plan]
- Add Notes → Log details directly to the Timeline.
- Send 1:1 Emails → Connect Gmail/Outlook to send directly from your mailbox.
- Make Calls → Place calls via Twilio, with details logged in the Timeline.
- Create Tasks → Assign tasks (calls, follow-ups, meetings) with due dates and owners.
- Add to Cadence → Enrol in a structured sales cadence.
Other useful tabs include:
- Timeline → See every interaction (emails, calls, website visits, workflow activity).
- Company Details → View or update the linked organisation.
- Technologies → See tech stack data (if available).
- Documents → Store and view shared files like quotes or proposals.
- Manage Tab → Quickly move a contact between lists, cadences, or audiences.
Managing Companies
A Company Record connects contacts, intent signals, and account-level data in one place.
Company List View
- Edit Columns → Customise the grid to display relevant details.
- New Company → Manually add records.
- Search Bar → Look up organisations by name.
Inside a Company Record
Key areas include:
- Overview → Company profile, industry codes, size, location, and founding date.
- Intent Summary → See which intent topics the company is surging on.
- Top Executives → Reveal senior decision-makers (credits apply).
- Timeline → View all activity across contacts within the company.
- Contacts Tab → Access revealed contacts, target personas, or reveal new prospects.
- AI Research → Run custom AI prompts to generate tailored insights on the company, such as market position, recent news, competitive landscape, or growth opportunities.
- Technologies Tab → See current tech stack.
- Documents Tab → Upload and track quotes, invoices, and related files.
Best Practices
- Keep records clean → Regularly update contact/company details for accuracy.
- Use the Timeline → Track all activities to build a complete view of engagement.
- Leverage intent + contacts together → Use company intent to prioritise which contacts to reveal and target.
- Sync with your sales tools → Push records into Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics for seamless follow-up.
